Tubular Flow Reactor (CRE-3304)
The Tubular Flow Reactor (CRE-3304) is designed for studying the behavior and operation of a continuously running tubular reactor. The apparatus includes all required connections, pumps, reactant and product tanks, a heating water circuit, and a water bath. Two reactants are delivered individually through separate nozzles, mixed in a T-piece, and passed through a concentric tube reactor. The retention time is controlled by adjusting the pump speed, while the heating water circuit allows investigation of the effect of temperature on the reaction. Conductivity and temperature are measured digitally using a conductivity/temperature combination sensor. Optional data acquisition software is available for recording and processing measured quantities.
Key Features
- Concentric type stainless steel tube as reactor
- T-piece with 2 nozzles for mixing the reactants
- Tank as water bath for the reactor and for connection to the heating water circuit
- Transparent tube for hot water circuit
- Sensor for measuring the conductivity and temperature
- Temperature control in the reactor
