Electric Vehicle Systems Panel Trainer

(Order Code: 740-01 P9612-E) is an advanced educational training solution designed to provide students and instructors with practical experience in understanding, analyzing, and troubleshooting electric vehicle electrical systems. This trainer enables users to demonstrate, investigate, and perform fault-finding on a realistic simulation of an electric vehicle system while maintaining safe learning conditions through low-voltage test points.

The trainer is engineered to simulate both mechanical operation and electrical power flow, allowing learners to visualize how electric vehicle systems function in real-world applications. It includes a detailed dashboard featuring speed, RPM, ECO monitor, and temperature displays, providing a realistic vehicle operating environment. An integrated LCD panel scan tool is included for displaying diagnostic trouble codes, helping students develop professional diagnostic skills.

For hands-on interaction, the system is equipped with brake and accelerator pedals, gear-shift control, and a park push-button, enabling learners to simulate vehicle operation. Safety-focused training is enhanced through features such as a service disconnect plug, first responder loop, and training modules for disabling and checking the high-voltage system safely.

The trainer supports measurement and analysis through dedicated DC and AC circuit measurement terminals, along with electric motor driving wheels with power flow display. Additional controls include external, internal, and battery temperature controls for monitoring and simulating thermal management functions.

To strengthen troubleshooting capabilities, the panel offers manual or automatic fault insertion with 16 programmable faults, allowing simulation of common real-world EV system malfunctions. This makes it ideal for teaching advanced diagnostic and maintenance procedures.
