Reciprocating Pump Demonstration Unit (FM-1849-41)
The Reciprocating Pump Demonstration Unit is designed to help users study and analyze the performance characteristics of a reciprocating pump in a controlled laboratory environment. It allows accurate measurement of the pump’s operating curve and provides insight into pressure variations within the system.
The unit includes a motor-driven reciprocating pump, an integrated piping system with a supply tank, and an optional measuring tank for determining volumetric flow rate. Pressure gauges are installed to monitor both the delivery pressure and the pressure inside the pump cylinder.
To ensure stable operation, a pressure retention valve maintains a constant system pressure. Additionally, an air vessel is incorporated to reduce pulsations typically associated with reciprocating pump operation, enabling clearer observation of steady-state conditions.
