Centrifugal Pump (Transparent Model) FM-1849-22A is an advanced laboratory training system designed to demonstrate the working principle and performance characteristics of a Centrifugal Pump. This experimental setup enables students and researchers to clearly observe pump operation and analyze hydraulic performance through real-time measurements.
The unit features a transparent pump casing and tank, allowing users to visually study internal fluid flow and cavitation phenomena. The system is mounted on a stable steel/HDF base plate and includes all required components such as a tank, variable area flow meter, pressure gauges, and speed measurement devices for comprehensive experimentation.
This trainer allows users to investigate important centrifugal pump parameters including pump characteristic curves, pump efficiency, the relationship between speed and discharge, and the occurrence of cavitation. With a variable speed controlled motor (up to 2900 RPM) and measurable head up to 30 meters, the apparatus provides accurate and repeatable experimental results for engineering laboratories.
The optional DAQ Software FM-1849-22A SW, developed in the LabVIEW™ environment, allows users to collect, process, and visualize experimental data on Windows systems. The software automatically generates graphs, tables, and CSV reports containing all measured and calculated parameters.
