Aerodynamics Trainer FM-1849-56
Aerodynamics Trainer FM-1849-56 is a comprehensive laboratory system designed to demonstrate the fundamental principles of aerodynamics and fluid flow. This advanced trainer enables students and researchers to study the behavior of airflow around and through different bodies using a compressible fluid, making it an essential educational tool for mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, and fluid mechanics laboratories.
Aerodynamics plays a crucial role in the development of modern transportation systems such as aircraft, automobiles, ships, and in architectural designs including skyscrapers, bridges, and towers. The FM-1849-56 trainer provides a controlled environment where learners can conduct practical experiments related to airflow, pressure distribution, drag forces, and boundary layer behavior.
The system is equipped with a radial/centrifugal fan capable of generating airflow velocities up to 40 m/s, with speed continuously adjustable through a variable frequency drive (VFD). A stabilization chamber with a flow straightener ensures low-turbulence airflow, while a specially designed aerodynamic nozzle produces a uniform velocity distribution in the measuring section.
For accurate measurements, the trainer includes 16 tube manometers that clearly display pressure variations, along with measuring points along the test section for velocity and pressure analysis. A digital temperature sensor with display is also integrated to monitor air temperature during experiments. Accessories can be quickly attached or replaced using quick-release fasteners, making the system highly flexible for different experimental setups.
